Explore our classes

A Turn at the Wheel

$80 per person

2.5 hour session that will include the following:

A demonstration of tools and techniques you will use on the potter's wheel to cone, center and throw your own bowl. Students will create 1 or 2 bowls that will be finished and ready for pickup in 3-4 weeks.

The Nature of Clay on the Wheel

$250 per person

2.5 hours per week for 4 weeks

In this course you will learn wedging, coning and centering techniques. Creating bowls, mugs with handles, vases and covered jars. Your 4th session will be a glazing session that will be scheduled once your work has been through the bisque firing.

*Demonstrations will be provided for tools and techniques on the wheel to create your own pots.*

Intermediate and Advance Wheel Throwing

$240 per student

3 hours per week for 4 weeks

This course will focus on building your skills on the wheel to create pitchers, casseroles, goblets and cylinder stacking for larger pots.

Your 4th session will be a glazing session that will be scheduled once your work has been through the bisque firing.

*Demonstrations will be provided for tools and techniques on the wheel to create your own pots.*

***Important - Please come with trimmed finger nails for best results.  Aprons, tools, clay, glaze and firings are included.  Close toed shoes are recommended.***

Welcome to a world that offers unlimited creativity through physical and visual interaction with clay. We provide instruction for both pottery wheel throwing and hand building techniques. We are also a working pottery and can assist student of all skill levels or just provide studio space for seasoned potters.
